Oral Presentation Instructions
- Note that the regular oral presentation length is now 20 minutes (including time for questions) The symposium, roundtable, and workshop time remains 60 minutes.
- To upload your presentation to the host committee's computer, bring your thumb/USB drive the day before your scheduled presentation to the conference station set up by the host committee. This station is located at the registration desk in the foyer of the Labatt Health Sciences Building. The desk will be open from 8 am until 6 pm each day. For anyone arriving late and presenting the next day, please download your presentation at the registration site between 8 - 8:30 am. The upload will be completed in a prompt manner.
- The file should be named with the last name of first author. If an author has two presentations as first author, the file name should be the last name of the author followed by 1 or 2.
- All presentations must be compatible with Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 for Windows.
- When the file is uploaded to host committee's computer it will be checked for compatibility with video, graphs, charts...with the assistance of the presenter.
- The file will then be transferred to the appropriate conference room computer the night before the scheduled presentation to save time between sessions.
- Presenters are encouraged to bring an emergency copy of the file on a thumb/USB drive to the presentation.
PLEASE NOTE: Internet access will be available in the presentation rooms.
Poster Presentations:
Each presenter will have access to a poster tack board. Size of posters should not exceed 3 X 5 feet. Thumbtacks/push pins will not be provided.
