Transportation

Air Travel

Conference attendees should make arrangements to fly into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), located 15 miles south of downtown Seattle. Sea-Tac is served by more than 27 airlines. For more information on the airport, visit: http://www.portseattle.org/seatac/

Ground Transportation

Link Light Rail

The Link Light Rail is the most economical choice to get from the Sea-Tac Airport to the Renaissance Hotel. Link trains run every 7-15 minutes depending on the time of day. Service is available from 5am - 1am (Monday - Saturday), and 6am - midnight (Sunday and holidays). Adult fares range from $2.00 to $2.75 one-way.

From the airport baggage claim area, follow the signs to the Link Light Rail. Ride the train for approximately 35 minutes and depart at the University Street stop in downtown. From the train stop, exit the station and walk southeast on 3rd Ave for 3 blocks, then turn left onto Madison Street. Walk up the hill on Madison 2 blocks and the Renaissance will be on your right. (For more information on Link Light Rail or to use the online 'Trip Planner', visit: http://www.soundtransit.org/Rider-Guide/Link-light-rail.xml)

Shuttle or Taxi

If you would prefer to be dropped off directly at the hotel, both shuttles and taxis operate out of Sea-Tac airport. The Downtown Airporter from Shuttle Express (http://www.downtownairporter.com/) can be booked online and will cost you about $12.50 one-way. Taxis can be found outside of baggage claim and will run you approximately $35 one-way to downtown Seattle.

Parking

Should you choose to drive to the conference, parking at the Renaissance hotel is the $30/day ($36/day if you would prefer valet).
