North American Society for Sport Management

The following is a CALL FOR NOMINATIONS for the SENIOR ASSOCIATE EDITOR position of the Journal of Sport Management (JSM). JSM is a refereed publication of the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM). The Journal of Sport Management is the leading Sport Management Journal, encouraging the submission of manuscripts in a number of areas as they relate to the management, governance, and consumption of sport.

The Senior Associate Editor plays a key role in the operational and strategic direction of JSM. Specific qualifications for the position include:

1. Significant scholarly contributions to the field of Sport Management, including publications in JSM.
2. Extensive reputation reviewing manuscripts for publication, an editorial board member, and/or an editor of a sport management-related journal.
3. Demonstrated administrative skills, capacity to handle a demanding workload and meet deadlines, and ability to work constructively with authors, reviewers, and the Executive Council. 
4. A professional member of NASSM.
5. Familiarity with online submission and review systems.
