North American Society for Sport Management

Representatives from NASSM and NASPE, along with the SMPRC, have been meeting since July of 2005 to examine possibility of moving from program approval to accreditation. NASSM and NASPE have appointed two task forces to examine the the mechanics of making such a move as well as what changes would be required in the curricular standards. A roundtable discussion will be held at the 21st Annual NASSM Conference in Kansas City.
