We know that, same as us, many of you are making plans for the 2009 NASSM conference in Columbia, South Carolina. Here are a couple of things that you might want to know:
- Meals: your registration covers three meals during the conference (the Student Luncheon on May 28th, the President Luncheon on May 29th, and the Zeigler Award Banquet on May 30th). These functions are great for saving money and also for socializing. See the conference Event Schedule [1] for more details.
- Accommodation and roommates: there are several hotels within walking distance to the conference hotel. Students are welcome to register at the host hotel (Hilton Columbia Center) or the student host hotel (Hampton Inn Downtown Historic District). Click here [2] for more details on both options. Please visit the NASSM student forum for travel plan tips and please also share your tips there: http://www.nassm.com/forum [3] (note that you must be logged into the NASSM site in order to access the forum). If you need roommates, please contact us by clicking on one of our names below. We will try to pair you with somebody.
